PU Textile Printing Blanket (DERCO) — DERCO, Holland

Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) printing blanket on a polyester carcass, carrying fabric through rotary-screen, flat-bed and digital textile printing machines with accurate, repeatable register.

The blanket is the moving print table: it has to hold its length and stay flat so the screens stay in register from the first metre to the last. A low-stretch polyester carcass and an even-thickness TPU face avoid the speed variation and surface waviness that show up as misprints and colour fall-out — especially at the joint.

The PU face resists dyes, pigment pastes and repeated washing, and takes a fresh layer of blanket glue after cleaning, so fabric stays fixed during printing and peels off cleanly afterwards.
