Aramid Felt Blanket for Sublimation & Heat-Transfer Calenders

Endless, seamless needle-punched aramid felt that presses transfer paper against fabric around the heated drum of sublimation and heat-transfer calenders.

In sublimation and heat-transfer printing the felt wraps the heated drum and holds paper and fabric in firm, even contact while the dye transfers. A seamless felt of uniform thickness and density avoids pressure lines and pale patches, and heat-set aramid keeps its width and length at drum temperature.

Felt thickness and density are chosen to suit the calender and fabric weight. Replace the felt when it glazes, hardens or loses thickness — uneven pressure shows directly as uneven colour.
