MULCO / BRECO, Germany · Timing Belts
German-made polyurethane timing belts with steel wire or Kevlar cord reinforcement. Available in T5, T10, T20, AT5, AT10, AT20, and HTD profiles.
Also known as: Polyurethane timing belts, PU synchronous belts, Steel-cord timing belts, BRECOFLEX timing belts, SYNCHROFLEX timing belts
PU timing belts transmit motion through teeth rather than friction, so there is no slip: the driven shaft stays exactly in step with the motor. Steel cords give very low stretch for precise positioning; Kevlar cords suit applications that need flexibility, small pulleys or non-magnetic construction. The polyurethane body resists oils, greases and most cleaning agents and runs without lubrication.
Choose T-profiles (T5, T10, T20) for general synchronous drives and conveying, AT-profiles (AT5, AT10, AT20) where higher tooth stiffness and positional accuracy are needed, and HTD where an existing drive uses round-tooth pulleys. We supply matching timing pulleys and clamp plates.
Belts are available endless for drives, open-ended by the metre for linear axes and reciprocating motion, and with welded cleats, special backings or machined holes to your drawing for conveying, indexing and vacuum transport.

AT profiles have a larger, stiffer tooth and a different tooth geometry that carries more load and gives better positioning accuracy than the same-pitch T profile. T profiles are the common standard for general drives and conveying.
Steel cords give the lowest stretch and are the usual choice for linear positioning and high loads. Kevlar is lighter and more flexible, suits small pulleys and is needed where a non-magnetic or corrosion-free belt is required.
Yes. Send the profile, width and length (or tooth count), or a sample or drawing showing any cleats, backing or holes, and we will supply a matching belt.
Yes. Open-ended PU timing belt is available by the metre in common profiles and widths, along with clamp plates for linear drives.
